Grace Road washed out
The NatWest Pro40 match between Leicestershire Foxes and Northants Steelbacks at Grace Road was abandoned without a ball bowled.
The result leaves Northants rooted to the foot of the Division Two table with one game top play against promotion-chasing Yorkshire Carnegie at Wantage Road on Saturday.
Leicestershire remain seventh, due to Warwickshire Bears’ washout with Essex Eagles at Edgbaston, ahead of their final game against Surrey at the Brit Oval on Saturday.
