Wright powers Sussex to victory
Luke Wright clobbered 18 fours and a six in a 62-ball 95 as Sussex claimed a crushing nine-wicket win in their NatWest Pro40 Division One match against Gloucestershire at Horsham.
James Kirtley and Yasir Arafat took three wickets apiece as Sussex bowled out Gloucestershire for just 189.
Hamish Marshall was the only batsman to offer any notable resistance with 50.
Wright and Ed Joyce, who made 66, were in no mood to hang around as the home side raced to 192 for one from just 26.1 overs.
Jacques Rudolph also hit 95, but his was in a losing cause as Yorkshire lost by five wickets to Somerset at Taunton.
Despite Rudolph's knock Yorkshire were dismissed for 208, Zander de Bruyn with 4-20, including the key wicket of the South African opener.
Somerset reached 211 for five with 19 balls left thanks to an unbeaten 62 from James Hildreth.
Wicketkeeper James Foster took four catches and a stumping as Essex beat Nottinghamshire by 34 runs.

Luke Wright propelled Sussex to an emphatic nine-wicket victory over Gloucestershire at Horsham with a brutal 95 from 62 balls
Ryan ten Doeschate helped Essex to 224 for eight with an unbeaten 64 off 50 balls, while Varun Chopra made 51.
Foster and Danish Kaneria, who took three wickets, then led the way as Nottinghamshire were all out for 190.
In Division Two, Owais Shah's magnificent 130 proved in vain as Middlesex fell to a 12-run defeat to Kent.
Shah, whose knock came off 94 balls and featured 14 fours and four sixes, was desperately lacking in support from his team-mates as Middlesex were dismissed for 246 in reply to Kent's 258 for four.
Rob Key earlier managed just four for Kent, but Darren Stevens hit an unbeaten 75 and there were decent contributions from Joe Denly (66) and Geraint Jones (73).
Warwickshire strolled to an embarrassingly easy nine-wicket win over Leicestershire at Edgbaston with more than 17 overs to spare.
Neil Carter was the star of the show as the home side limited Leicestershire to 158 for eight, the South African taking 3-22 in his eight overs.
He then smacked 63 off 34 balls to help guide Warwickshire, for whom Jonathan Trott had an unbeaten 73, to 161 for one.
Northamptonshire edged home by six runs against Glamorgan at Colwyn Bay, despite a blistering 108 off 62 from Tom Maynard.
Robert Croft returned figures of 4-43 as Northants made 268 for seven, thanks largely to a first-wicket partnership of 153 between Stephen Peters (69) and Niall O'Brien (82).
The home side's reply fell short, despite the efforts of Maynard and Gareth Rees, who made 73.
