TwelfthMan: My account
Worcestershire batsman Moeen Ali is the early pacesetter in the Sky Sports Sixes League thanks to his big-hitting exploits against Hampshire.
Moeen cleared the ropes three times in his innings of 125 from 109 balls in the Royals’ Friends Provident Trophy victory at the Rose Bowl, the first weekend of the domestic one-day summer.
Somerset wicketkeeper-batsman Craig Kieswetter is second with three maximums from 131 deliveries.
Three Northamptonshire players, Johan van der Wath, Rob White and Steven Crook, are a spot further back after two sixes in their FP Trophy defeat to holders Essex.
The Sky Sports Sixes League, sponsored by The Times, ranks the top 10 batsmen that have hit the most sixes in FP Trophy, Twenty20 Cup and NatWest Pro40 matches.
It provides batsmen with another incentive for big-hitting with £2,000 and the Sixes trophy for the winner, plus awards for each month’s big hitter.
The past winners are Graham Napier, Graeme Hick, Cameron White, Ian Blackwell and Mark Ealham.
