Adil Rashid took seven wickets for 107 runs as Yorkshire dismissed Hampshire for an identical first-innings score in their LV County Championship Division One clash at The Rose Bowl.
They were career-best figures for the promising leg-spinner, whose victims included Michael Brown (45) and Michael Carberry (46) - who shared in an opening-wicket stand of 82.
Rashid also captured the top-order wickets of Chris Benham, who was lbw to his first ball, and Michael Lumb (21) who was caught by Adam Lyth.
Earlier in the day Hampshire took Yorkshire’s three remaining wicket for 30 runs to wrap up the innings on 236 with South African Jacques Rudolph top-scoring with 89.
Nottinghamshire added just 45 runs to their overnight total as they were bowled out for 230 by Somerset at Taunton.
Skipper Chris Read was unbeaten on 74 and received little support from the tail with Mark Ealham, Andre Adams and Darren Pattinson all out for nought.
Somerset openers Justin Langer (60 not out) and Marcus Trescothick (50no) made amends for their poor first innings as they both hit half-centuries in a an unbroken first-wicket stand of 114.
Sussex batsman Chris Nash hit his maiden first-class century in his side’s clash with Lancashire at Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old hit 108 to help the defending champions overtake the Red Rose’s first-innings effort of 206 to post a total of 316 themselves.
Nash hit 14 fours during his innings before he was eventually trapped lbw by Steven Croft.
Matt Prior provided support scoring a rapid 73 as part of a 125-run stand for the fourth wicket before Nash, and then Prior, were dismissed by Croft in quick succession.
Lancashire now have it all to do after losing Kiwi opener Lou Vincent to Robin Martin-Jenkins at the start of their second innings and will start day three 101 runs behind.
Kent's Robbie Joseph took a career-best 6-32 as the wickets continued to tumble in their clash with Durham at Chester-le-Street.
Earlier Mark Davies scooped 5-21 as Kent were dismissed in their first-innings for a lowly 78 with Callum Thorp recording figures of 4-34.
Durham were then bowled out for 108 in their second innings as Joseph and Ryan McLaren (3-23) ripped through the batting line-up.
Kent - who were set a victory target of 176 - then collapsed from 96 for three to 116 for eight as Davies picked up 4-16 before bad light stopped play.
In Division Two, Derbyshire trail Worcestershire by 172 runs with four wickets remaining in the first innings after reaching 278 at stumps.
Paul Borrington scored 85 at the top of the order while Greg Smith weighed in with 88 before both fell victim to Simon Jones - who did his England chances no harm with 3-72.
Elsewhere, Leicestershire trail by 114 runs with one wicket remaining in the first innings after Gloucestershire added 59 to their overnight score to post a first-innings total of 315.
In reply Leicestershire reached 201 for nine at the close, with 17-year-old Joshua Cobb top-scoring with 44.
Middlesex reached 52 for two against Glamorgan after the majority of the day’s play at Colwyn Bay was washed out with the visitors trailing by 204 runs.
Stephen Peters (50), Rob White (73) and Riki Wessels (61) helped Northamptonshire reach 292 for five against Warwickshire as leg-spinner Ian Salisbury claimed 4-79 at the end of the first day of their clash at Edgbaston.
