Gerard Brophy and Stuart Law are set to clash at Old Trafford

Yorkshire hope to repeat their recent win over Lancashire in back-to-back Roses friendlies, the first of which gets underway at Old Trafford on Monday.

The two sides will play a 50-over game, now due to begin at 11.30am, 17 days after Yorkshire beat their rivals en route to winning the Pro ARCH trophy in Abu Dhabi.

The limited overs match is followed by a two-day clash in white clothing, starting on Tuesday.

Lancashire captain Stuart Law is expected to take part in at least one of the matches having arrived in England.

Warwickshire host Worcestershire in a 50-over clash at Edgbaston, before they meet again for the opening game of the LV County Championship on April 16.

The Bears had the better of Worcestershire in their recent friendly at New Road. The match gets underway at 11am.

Gloucestershire and Somerset are due to renew their rivalry in a 50-over match at Bristol, beginning at 12 noon.

The game is preparation for the Friends Provident Trophy, with the west country rivals meeting in all three limited overs competitions this season.

Play was abandoned for the day at the Brit Oval, as Surrey and Middlesex were unable to begin their two-day match.
