MCC replace Richardson with Rushworth
MCC have drafted Durham’s Chris Rushworth into their team for the Champion County match against Warwickshire as a replacement for the injured Alan Richardson.
Veteran Worcestershire seamer Richardson featured in the fixture last year but has been forced to withdraw from the squad on this occasion.
John Stephenson, MCC head of cricket and manager of the team to face Warwickshire, said: “It is a shame that Alan has had to pull out of the Champion County match.
