Warwickshire - beaten finalists last year - will attempt to go one better when they clash with Glamorgan at Coventry CC this week
Warwickshire second XI will aim to set the standard for the first team when they contest the Second XI Championship final this week.
The senior squad enter the final fortnight of the season harbouring genuine hopes of winning the LV= County Championship.
The second XI have the chance to do the equivalent at Coventry CC, where they meet Glamorgan in an extended four-day clash starting tomorrow.
Warwickshire, booked their place in the final by virtue of winning the North Division - Lancashire finished second - while Glamorgan topped the South Division ahead of Middlesex.
The final also provides Warwickshire with a chance to make amends for last year's defeat at the hands of Surrey.
