Middlesex lifted the Second XI Trophy after winning a thrilling final against Somerset at Taunton.
The visitors triumphed by one run as they successfully defended a total of 198 in a nail-biting climax to the one-day competition.
Somerset, who are also chasing glory in the Second XI Championship, were bowled out for 197 despie John Francis’ 57.
Earlier, England Under-19 international Billy Godleman continued his impressive summer with 69 for Middlesex, who were also indebted to Eoin Morgan’s 85.
Arul Suppiah returned figures of 5-40 for Somerset but they were to fall narrowly short with the bat.

Middlesex 198 (B Godleman 69, E Morgan 85, A Suppiah 5-40); Somerset 197 all out (J Francis 57). Middlesex won by one run.
