Sussex recruit Hamilton-Brown

England Under-19 captain Rory Hamilton-Brown has signed a two-year contract with Sussex.

Surrey agreed to release the all-rounder last week with a year left on his contract because of a lack of first-team opportunities.

The 20-year-old is spending the winter in Perth at the academy run by Hampshire coach Paul Terry and will play grade cricket for Scarborough CC.

Hamilton-Brown made five one-day appearances for Surrey this season but did not figure in the LV County Championship team.
