Somerset all-rounder Peter Trego is captaining a 15-man MCC party which has left on a two-week tour of Argentina.
They will play seven games – including three one-day games and a two-day game against the Argentina national side, plus matches against an Argentina Colts XI and an Argentina Presidents Cricket XI.
During 2007 Trego enjoyed the most productive season of his career, scoring 814 LV County Championship runs at an average of 54.27, in addition to which he took 31 wickets at a cost of 34.84 runs each.
