Hampshire have added 3,000 temporary seats to the Rose Bowl to cope with massive demand for Twenty20 Cup tickets.

Pre-match sales for the Hawks’ derby with Sussex Sharks on Friday have surpassed any domestic fixture to date and are continuing to sell strongly.

The match has taken on added significance with the Hawks pushing for a quarter-final place. Following Monday’s last ball defeat to Kent Spitfires, the Hawks are third in the group with six matches to play.

To be part of Friday’s record-breaking evening under the Rose Bowl’s world class floodlights fans are advised to book in advance via www.rosebowlplc.com, the ticket line on 0870 243 0291 or in person from the ticket office from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

On Friday gates open at 5pm and the match starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £15 in advance for adults and £5 for under-16s subject to a £1 booking fee. Adult tickets on the day are £20 subject to availability.
