Sky commentary for Twenty20 fans

Sky Sports has teamed up with broadcast specialists Sound Decisions to provide TV commentary via radio headsets for spectators at this Saturday's Twenty20 Cup Finals Day.

In a first for domestic cricket, spectators at The Brit Oval will be able to enjoy the Sky Sports coverage - including both semi-finals and final - via a local FM frequency which can only be picked up by special SoundDec radio headsets.

Sky's coverage includes commentary from Nasser Hussain, David Lloyd, Ian Ward, Robert Croft and Charles Colvile, and begins at 10.30am.

The headsets will broadcast build-up, match commentary and post-match reviews and will be available from mobile sales staff at the entrances and around the ground as well as from various retail points around The Brit Oval.

Sky Sports first teamed up with Sound Decisions at the recent NatWest International Twenty20 match between England and Australia at The Rose Bowl and users of the headsets included members of the England team.

Paul Forsyth, sales director of Sound Decisions, said: "Most spectators will be in their seats for over 10 hours on Saturday and I'm sure the opportunity to enjoy Sky's brilliant Twenty20 Cup coverage throughout the day will appeal to many around the ground."

Barney Francis, Sky Sports' executive producer for cricket, said: "With 11 hours of live coverage from beginning to end, the Twenty20 Cup Finals Day is our longest cricket broadcast of the year.

"We're pleased to team up with Sound Decisions again to give spectators the chance to enjoy our coverage."
