Benefit season for Hancock
Gloucestershire have awarded long-serving batsman Tim Hancock a benefit season for 2005.
The 32-year-old has played 180 first-class matches and 209 one-day games for the county, who were C&G Trophy champions this year.
Hancock made his Gloucestershire debut in 1991 and was capped by the county in 1998.
“I am very pleased to have been given a benefit, it is a great honour and I look forward to combining it with another successful season with Gloucestershire next year,” said Hancock
Chief executive Tom Richardson added: “Tim Hancock, in many ways, has been a model professional.
“He is dedicated, loyal and works extremely hard on his game. We wish him every success in his benefit year.”
