Somerset appoint skipper White

Following Ian Blackwell’s shoulder injury Somerset have announced that Australian all-rounder Cameron White will captain the side.

White has captained his state side Victoria and also led Australia to victory at the 2002 Under-19 World Cup.

Blackwell hurt his shoulder during the county championship game against Leicestershire and may need surgery.
