Cameron White hit six sixes in his astonishing 141 not out

Somerset’s Cameron White has increased his lead at the top of the Sky Sports Sixes League.

Six maximums in his record Twenty20 score of 141 not out against Worcestershire took his season's tally to 29, 10 clear of Essex's Ronnie Irani, who struck three in his side's victory over Kent.

Worcestershire's Graeme Hick countered White's assault with four sixes of his own, pushing him into sixth.

Gloucestershire's surge to the top of the Mid/West/Wales group has coincided with Ian Harvey finding his six-hitting groove again.

He is now back in the top 10 for the first time in two months.

The league, sponsored by the Daily Express, ranks the 10 batsmen that have hit the most sixes in Pro40, Twenty20 Cup and C&G matches throughout the summer.

In addition to a £2,000 award for the summer’s overall winner and the Sky Sports Sixes League trophy, there is an award each month for the player who has hit the most sixes in the previous four weeks.

Justin Kemp won May’s award with nine sixes while White landed June’s prize with 19.

Ian Blackwell won last year’s Sky Sports Sixes League, with Mark Ealham the inaugural winner in 2004.
