Abandonment sends Sussex top
Sussex moved to the top of Clydesdale Bank 40 Group C despite suffering their fourth washout in a row against Kent at Arundel.
The umpires called the game off at 1:30pm after persistent rain during the morning had left the run-ups in an unsatisfactory condition.
The point means Sussex go ahead of Warwickshire on 10 points, although they have played a game more, while Kent are third on seven points.
It continues a frustrating run for Sussex, who won their opening three games in the competition but have since seen their matches against the Unicorns, Derbyshire, Warwickshire and now Kent abandoned.
