Somerset are set to field both Overton twins together for the first time in tomorrow’s Clydesdale Bank 40 Group B match at Durham.

Craig and Jamie, both England Under-19 internationals, have featured separately for Somerset this summer, but should now play in the same team after the latter recovered from an elbow problem.

South Africa seamer Vernon Philander is likely to make way in the only change to the XI in LV= County Championship action at the Emirates Durham ICG this week.

Somerset director of cricket Brian Rose told the club’s official website: “It promises to be a red letter day for the Overton family. The results of Jamie’s scan were good and he is fit to play.”

Durham will be led by Paul Collingwood as Dale Benkenstein misses out with a shoulder injury.

Gareth Breese, Liam Plunkett and Chris Rushworth will also make their first appearances of the summer.

Former Australia batsman Marcus North could make his debut for the Welsh Dragons when they take on Group B rivals Scotland at Uddingston, but Jim Allenby remains on the sidelines with a back strain.

Scotland, fresh from victory over Nottinghamshire in their last fixture, have named an unchanged squad.

In Group C, Derbyshire travel to Edgbaston to face Warwickshire in an attempt to secure their second successive victory after their opening triumph over the Unicorns, who play Sussex at the PROBIZ County Ground.

Middlesex will be without the injured Toby Roland-Jones for Monday’s Group A trip to Voorburg to face the Netherlands.

The seamer is currently occupying the sidelines with an ankle problem, with Middlesex opting to add Sam Robson and Tom Smith to the squad that lost to Gloucestershire.

Essex have Graham Napier back for the visit of Worcestershire.

The all-rounder has recovered from a calf strain but it remains to be seen whether Ravi Bopara and Alviro Petersen will be passed fit after picking up quad and ankle injuries respectively in the LV= County Championship clash with Kent.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Jon Batty replaces Richard Coughtrie in Gloucestershire’s only change from the championship side that lost to Yorkshire as Leicestershire make the trip to Bristol.
