Phil Mustard will be looking to continue his fine form as Durham aim to strengthen their Clydesdale Bank 40 hopes against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

The wicketkeeper-batsman struck 143 and 107 in last week’s victories over Surrey and Glamorgan, to help Durham move into third place in Group B, a point behind Chris Adams’ men and two behind leaders Hampshire.

Surrey and Hampshire face off at the Ageas Bowl tomorrow with Kevin Pietersen expected to feature.

Somerset have named left-arm seamer Robert Mutch in their squad as they continue their quest to reach the last four with a trip to Scotland.

The 27-year-old South-African born bowler, who plays in the Devon League for Lewdown, is set to make his debut, while Lewis Gregory will play as a specialist batsman due to a slight side problem.

Skipper Marcus Trescothick is rested and paceman Gemaal Hussain is sidelined by a minor hip problem.

Josh Davey is ineligible for Scotland after featuring for Middlesex, with Calvin Burnett named as his replacement.

Group A leaders Lancashire are set to welcome Stephen Moore back for the meeting with Gloucestershire at Bristol after the opening batsman was dropped for the Red Rose’s LV= County Championship Division One relegation clash at Worcestershire.

Ravi Bopara will return to action for the first time since twice withdrawing from England duty due to personal reasons in Essex’s clash with the Netherlands at Colchester.

Bottom-placed Leicestershire can move above Worcestershire with victory at New Road.

Jack Brooks has given Northamptonshire a boost ahead of their Group C encounter versus Kent.

The England Lions seamer has missed the last four weeks with a back injury and returns to a squad that also includes youngsters Rob Keogh, Olly Stone and Christian Davis.

Warwickshire will hand on-loan Durham all-rounder Ian Blackwell a debut as they look to return to winning ways against the Unicorns following Wednesday’s loss to leaders Sussex, who travel to Headingley Carnegie for a game against Yorkshire.
