TwelfthMan: My account

Nathan Buck and James Vince oversee a fielding drill during their recent visit to Quamrunnessa High School
England Under-19s took time out of their busy tour of Bangladesh to help out at a very worthwhile cause in Dhaka.
The youngsters visited Quamrunnessa High School where they took part in an event by the International Inspiration Programme which was organised by the UK Government for the London 2012 Olympics.
The programme aims to transform the lives of people in developing counties, like Bangladesh, by using the power of sport.
The England team joined up with more than 200 scholars from six local schools - a mix of boys and girls, seniors and juniors - for a cricket carnival.
The players then put students from Dhanmondi Qamrunnessa Government Girls High School, Motijheel Government Girls and Boys School, IET Government High School, Dhaka Alia Madrasa, Banglabazar Govt. Girls High School and Dhanmondi Govt Girls and Boys through a series of cricket drills.
Each school who took part received a bag of cricket equipment to continue practising what they learnt from the England players.
"We loved being here," said tour manager John Abrahams. "This gave us a chance to interact with young people who, in the future, may play for Bangladesh. It was thoroughly enjoyable."
