England Under-19 made two quick breakthroughs after lunch on the second day of three against Bangladesh A before rain interrupted proceedings at Loughborough.
They removed both batsmen who were not out at lunch to leave the tourists 115 for four when showers forced the players off.
Resuming on 102 for two at the start of the afternoon session, seamer Ben Sanderson picked up his second wicket when Nadif Chowdhury was caught behind for 12.
Fellow medium-pacer Ian Saxelby then had Imrul Kayes lbw for 62 to leave captain Junaid Siddique questioning his decision to bat first.
Earlier, Siddique was caught behind by wicketkeeper Ben Brown off opening bowler James Harris for four with the score 21.
Rajin Saleh went to Sanderson in the same fashion for 16 to reduce the visitors to 62 for two but Bangladesh made it through to the interval without further loss.
The first day’s play was washed out.
