Under-19s forced to wait again

England Under-19s were left to endure further frustration as the waterlogged outfield at Willowmoore Park, Benoni, meant no play was possible for a second day of the solitary Test against their South Africa counterparts.

Recent heavy rain in Gauteng this week has prevented the ground from drying sufficiently to allow play in the final game of England’s month-long tour.

With half the match now lost, coach Andy Pick’s charges will have it all to do to avenge their one-day and Twenty20 series defeats.
