Under-19s frustrated by rain

England Under-19s' victory in the opening Twenty20 international was sufficient for a 2-0 series triumph

England Under-19s sealed a 1-0 series win after rain washed out the second Twenty20 international against Bangladesh.

Persistent rain at Sleaford CC meant the covers were not removed all day, and forced the umpires to call the game off in late afternoon.

England’s victory in yesterday’s clash at the same venue was therefore enough to secure a series win which went some way to making amends for their defeat in the one-day series.
