Vote for Swanny!
Graeme Swann is after your help in the latest episode of his video diary.
The England spinner is one of 10 nominees for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2010 award and has been busy practicing his winner’s speech ahead of Sunday night’s glittering ceremony in Birmingham.
“If you’ve enjoyed any of my diaries, even a little bit, then surely that’s worth a vote for me,” he jokingly pleads. “A vote for Swann is a vote for change!”
Here are some other highlights from this week’s diary:
Swanny takes in the view from the top tier of the MCG... “I think I can see my house from here.”
James Anderson’s trip home for the birth of his daughter presents a problem... “It’s not been the same without him. I’ve tried to find a sidekick from a few of the other lads, but sadly they’re not cutting the mustard.”
Steven Finn comes in for some stick over his new haircut... “It used to be so gorgeous and now of all our bowlers he’s in the bottom three! He was always behind Anderson and Broad, but I reckon he’s dropped down behind Ajmal Shahzad now in the looks stakes - and he looks like a hammerhead shark!”
Alastair Cook (aka the body beautiful) is urged to bare his chest for the camera... “If we get 100,000 hits for this then we will see his left nipple in the next diary!”
The sprinkler returns as we take a look at your best videos... ”We’ve had close to 5,000 clips come in!”
