The omission of injured fast bowler Umesh Yadav is the only change to India’s squad for the third Test with England.

Yadav impressed in the hosts' nice-wicket first-Test win at Ahmedabad but was ruled out of their 10-wicket loss in Mumbai by a back injury and will now miss the Kolkata game, beginning tomorrow week.

The selectors, who have kept faith with the other 15 squad members from the second Test, diverted from the plan to name a party today for both the third and fourth matches as well as two subsequent Twenty20 internationals.

India squad for third Test: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain, wicketkeeper), Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ashok Dinda, Pragyan Ojha, Ajinkya Rahane, Harbhajan Singh, Ishant Sharma, Murali Vijay, Zaheer Khan.
