England will be given greater access to quality spin bowling before arriving in India, with James Tredwell, Scott Borthwick, Simon Kerrigan and Azeem Rafiq joining their training camp in Dubai.

The quartet of twirlers, together with national lead spin bowling coach Peter Such, have been called upon to assist the Test squad in their preparation.

Durham leg-spinner Borthwick, who boasts three limited-overs caps for England, was already in Dubai on holiday, while Rafiq has travelled from South Africa after representing Yorkshire in the Champions League T20

Tredwell and Kerrigan, who play their domestic cricket for Kent and Lancashire respectively, flew out with England this morning.

The 17-man Test party contains three main spin options in Graeme Swann, Monty Panesar and Samit Patel.
