England bowler Stuart Broad has been sent for precautionary scans after jarring his right shoulder in yesterday’s victory over the Diamond Eagles, the ECB has confirmed today.

The 23-year-old Nottinghamshire player left the field during England's win over the Diamond Eagles in their first tour match in South Africa.

Broad claimed 2-28 from four overs to set up the 185-run victory at Bloemfontein.

The results of the scan should be known later today.
