Amjad heading home
Kent seamer Amjad Khan has been ruled out of the final match of England’s one-day series and is flying home to have treatment on a cartilage injury.
Amjad, who made his England debut in the last Test against West Indies and his Twenty20 international bow against the same opponents, has not featured in the one-day rubber.
The 28-year-old Denmark-born bowler was called up from England Lions’ tour of New Zealand as cover for Andrew Flintoff ahead of the third Test.
Meanwhile, left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn has replaced fellow slow bowler Nikita Miller, who has a side strain, in West Indies’ squad for the one-day decider in St Lucia.
