Windies keep faith for Barbados
West Indies have retained the same 13-man squad for the fourth Test against England in Barbados.
Chris Gayle’s team clung on for a draw at the Antigua Recreation Ground last week to maintain their 1-0 lead in the series going to the Kensington Oval.
If West Indies win in Bridgetown, they would take an unassailable lead going to Trinidad, and would win back the Wisden Trophy after almost nine years in England's possession.
In addition to the XI selected for that hastily-arranged third Test, the hosts have batsman Lendl Simmons and fast bowler Lionel Baker in reserve.
All-rounder Ryan Hinds was preferred to Simmons in Antigua. Baker, the first player from Montserrat to play Test cricket, could be contention for the third seamer’s spot in the side.
West Indies squad: Chris Gayle (captain), Devon Smith, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Lendl Simmons, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Brendan Nash, Ryan Hinds, Denesh Ramdin (wicketkeeper), Jerome Taylor, Sulieman Benn, Daren Powell, Fidel Edwards, Lionel Baker.
