Twenty20 qualifier dates revealed
The International Cricket Council has announced the schedule for this year's inaugural World Twenty20 qualifier.
Ireland will host the tournament, which takes place from August 2-4 and will determine which two associate sides go through to compete in next year’s ICC World Twenty20 in England.
Kenya and the Netherlands will compete in the first match at Belfast, with Canada also drawn in group A.
Ireland, Scotland and Bermuda make up group B; the winners of each group securing a place in the final on August 4 and a spot in the ICC World Twenty20 proper.
The tournament represents a first chance for the associate nations to play Twenty20 cricket, with seedings having been decided on one-day rankings as of February 2.
