Bopara set for Lions duty

Ravi Bopara has been added to the England Lions squad for the first four-day game against Australia A, which starts on Tuesday at Old Trafford.

Bopara featured in the first Investec Test against South Africa last month, but was unavailable for this week’s game at Headingley Carnegie due to personal reasons.

The Essex batsman will now return to action against Ed Cowan’s tourists, in the first of two first-class matches between the second strings of England and Australia.
