Pattinson to miss Australia A tour
Paceman James Pattinson will miss Australia A’s tour of England due to an abdominal strain.
Pattinson, who has played five Test and seven one-day internationals for the senior side, will be sidelined after suffering the injury during the final NatWest Series one-day international against England earlier this month.
The 22-year-old has returned home to Melbourne, but is expected to be fit for the one-day series against Pakistan in the UAE.
Western Australia fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile is set to join the squad, who will face England Lions in two four-day games during August.
It is the second bowling setback for Australia A after 19-year-old Pat Cummins picked up a side strain and had to be replaced by Alister McDermott.
