The ECB named a 14-strong ECB National Academy squad for winter 2006-7.

The squad will be based in Western Australia for a five-week period during the Ashes Test series under the management of National Academy director Peter Moores.

The Academy squad’s winter programme has been revised to ensure that it is now of maximum benefit to both the England team and the Academy players.

The 14 are as follows:
