Wainwright takes Parry's PEPP place

David Wainwright has joined the Potential England Performance Programme squad while Stephen Parry is rested as a precaution
David Wainwright has replaced fellow left-arm spinner Stephen Parry in the Potential England Performance Programme squad.
Parry, who turns 26 on Thursday week, suffered an injury during last month’s England Performance Programme training camp in India. He has been withdrawn from the PEPP party in a precautionary manner to ensure he his available for Lancashire at the start of this season.
Wainwright, 26, who joined Derbyshire from Yorkshire during September, takes Parry’s place in this month’s three-week trip to Sri Lanka where he will remain afterwards to play first-class cricket along with other members of the PEPP squad.
