Andrew Flintoff is on course to re-establish himself as one of the world’s leading one-day international bowlers.
Flintoff’s recent performances against India have seen him break back into the top 10 of the Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings for ODI bowlers.
The 30-year-old claimed four wickets at an economy rate of five in the five one-day internationals played, enough to move him up three places to 10th.
Stuart Broad picked up seven wickets at just over six but drops a place to joint sixth with Pakistan seamer Sohail Tanvir.
Flintoff, who struck 114 runs in five innings, remains second in the all-rounders rankings while Kevin Pietersen’s stays eighth among the batsmen.
Pietersen made 225 runs in five knocks, including 111 not out at Cuttack in the fifth match.
The sixth and seventh ODIs were postponed following the terrorist attacks in Mumbai last week.
