Proteas to face Dutch in Amstelveen
South Africa will play a one-day international with the Netherlands at Amstelveen on May 31 as part of the Proteas’ preparation for the Champions Trophy in England.
South Africa face India in the opening game of the Champions Trophy, at Cardiff on June 6, and their other Group B match is versus West Indies five days later at the Oval.
Cricket Netherlands chief executive Richard Cox said: “We feel we have pulled off a real coup in getting one of the top ODI nations in the world to come to the Netherlands not only to play but also to act as their preparation-base for this major tournament.
