The ECB has advised that no itinerary has yet been agreed with the Board of Control for Cricket in India for the tour to India later this year.
The BCCI announced that a two-Test series will be played at Ahmedabad and Mumbai following on from a seven-ODI series with matches played in New Delhi, Indore, Rajkot, Jamshedpur, Cuttack, Guwahati and Kanpur.
However, the ECB's director of England cricket operations, John Carr, said: "Whilst ECB has agreed that the tour will comprise seven ODIs and two Tests, we have not agreed a tour itinerary yet and still await receipt of a proposed schedule from BCCI.
"ECB has just completed a pre-tour visit to India based on tentative venues previously advised by BCCI and we have only just heard that a number of the proposed venues were changed by the BCCI yesterday."
Full details of the itinerary once confirmed will be published here on ecb.co.uk.
