Headingley Test tickets going quick
Following England's victory over New Zealand in the first Investec Test at Lord's, tickets for the second match at Headingley - starting on Friday - are selling fast.
Due to the demand from the public, the ticket office at Headingley will be open until 7pm every day this week as the exploits of Alistair Cook's men and the opportunity to watch Yorkshire's Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow play their first Test on their home ground captures the imagination of the sporting public.
Tickets start from £30 for adults and, with the interest mounting ahead of the opening day on Friday, club officials are urging fans to book early to ensure they reserve their seat.
"Ticket sales have accelerated following England's victory at Lord's," said Yorkshire's commercial director Andy Dawson.
"We have had tremendous interest from the public in the last 24 hours and we anticipate interest to continue for the rest of this week. Tickets for the first two days, Friday and Saturday, are the most popular and certain areas of the ground are close to selling out.
"The most convenient way to book is online. This service is available 24 hours a day. We also offer a 'print at home' service enabling fans to print their ticket off without having to queue at the ground."
The cost convenient way to buy a ticket for the Headingley Test is to purchase online and use the 'print at home' service. Log onto yorkshireccc.com and click on tickets.
