Stuart Broad’s maiden 10-wicket haul in England’s five-wicket victory over West Indies at Lord's has seen him move into a career-best position in the International Cricket Council rankings.

The 25-year-old paceman, who recorded figures of 7-72 and 4-93 at Lord’s, has jumped five places in to third alongside James Anderson in the bowling standings, who also claimed three wickets at the home of cricket.

Ian Bell’s two half-centuries saw him advance into 17th place in the batting rankings, with captain Andrew Strauss’ first-innings century helping him move up to 27th.
