Durham ODI tickets selling fast
Over 4,000 tickets have already been sold for England’s NatWest one-day international against India at the Emirates Durham ICG, which will take place on Saturday 3 September 2011.
Tickets in all permanent seating areas were released on general sale on Monday morning and are priced at £45 for adults and £10 for juniors until April 18, after which they will be increased.
There is now limited availability in the North West Terrace, Don Robson Pavilion and Lower County Durham Stand.
Durham director of marketing Mark Foster, said: "India was always going to be a huge draw for sports fans in the region.
"They have been playing brilliant cricket and it’s not surprising that so many people want to see them in action against England on their own doorstep.
"The phones in the box office have been ringing non-stop and the staff have been working incredibly hard to ensure people get served as quickly as possible.
"The fact that we’re offering all tickets at just £45 for adults and £10 for juniors until April has seen people who wouldn’t normally come along to the cricket rush to buy their tickets in advance to guarantee their place at what promises to be an outstanding day of international sport."
