Cardiff clash sold out
Glamorgan have announced that this summer’s one-day international between England and Pakistan at Cardiff is a sell-out.
Sophia Gardens will stage the opening game of the five-match NatWest Series on Wednesday, August 30, its first full international involving England.
“We’re naturally delighted to be confirming a
sell-out almost three months ahead of the fixture,” said Glamorgan chief executive Mike Fatkin.
“We predicted a huge demand for the game, particularly following the excitement which surrounded England’s superb win in last year’s Ashes, and that has proved to be the case.
“This is a great news story for both the city, and Wales as a nation, with yet another sell-out, major international sporting event being held in Cardiff.”
