Hussey to miss England ODIs
Australia have been dealt a blow with the news Mike Hussey has pulled out of the tour of England and Ireland following the premature birth of his fourth child.
Cricket Australia have confirmed the 37-year-old has opted to remain with his family, meaning Peter Forrest will take his place in the squad.
Hussey said in a statement on www.cricket.com.au: “Due to our baby being born three months early, it is important for the family for me to be here at this time.
“It is always difficult to miss any tour for Australia and I thank CA for their understanding of our family's situation.”
CA revealed they supported Hussey's decision.
Australia will play five one-day internationals in the NatWest Series against England and one with Ireland in the tour, which starts later this month.
