Old Trafford ODI sells out
England’s one-day international against Australia at Old Trafford has sold out, Lancashire confirmed today.
All 22,000 tickets have been sold for the third game of the NatWest Series on June 27, the day that will see the official opening of The Point, Lancashire’s new £12million conference and events facility.
England today announced their 13-man squad for the five-match NatWest Series, with Lancashire represented in the form of pace bowler James Anderson.
Lancashire commercial Director Geoff Durbin said: “We are delighted the north-west public has once again decided to mark the occasion by coming to Old Trafford in their numbers to get behind England.
“The opening of The Point also coincides with the game and will add to the significance of what will be a momentous day for the club.”
