More seats available for Bristol T20
Gloucestershire have opted to increase the capacity of their Bristol ground for England’s NatWest Twenty20 international against Sri Lanka on Saturday June 25 due to high demand for tickets.
Four stands sold out before Christmas and there was a further surge in ticket sales following England’s Ashes success in Australia.
As a result, the capacity has been increased from 12,500 to 14,000, with spectators also able to watch a women’s T20 international between England and Australia beforehand.
Gloucestershire ticketing manager Mark Weston said “We have been delighted with the ticket sales so far. The success of England in the Ashes has definitely seen a rise in England support.
“Also the addition of the women’s T20 international is a great bonus and supporters are taking advantage of having two games for the price of one.”
Tickets are available from £40 for members and £44 for non-members. Areas are available to suit everybody and stand F will once again be alcohol free.
