Old Trafford T20 tickets almost gone
Less than 400 tickets remain for both NatWest Twenty20 internationals between England and Australia at Old Trafford, on August 30 and September 1.
The action on each day will include music, dancers, DJs and fireworks with the RAF Falcons parachute display team performing on Sunday and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ runners-up Escala on Tuesday.
Lancashire commercial director Geoff Durbin said: “Twenty20 cricket is hugely popular, attracting new fans to the sport all the time.
“As the npower Ashes Test series has shown, the entire country is gripped by the rivalry between these two countries and tickets for matches are like hens’ teeth.
“To add to the drama of these two matches at Old Trafford, the ECB and Lancashire CCC have organised an entertainment package to not only compliment the explosive nature of the cricket but to ensure all spectators leave Old Trafford having experienced a great day out.
“So we encourage everyone to get to the ground early to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the pre-match build up and prepare for what will be two fantastic sporting events.”
Sunday August 30 at 2:30pm BST (gates open at 12:30pm)
Tuesday September 1 at 7pm with floodlights (gates open at 5pm)
Tickets start at £40 adults and £9 under-16s.
