The npower Test Series 2010 see England take on Bangladesh and then Pakistan
Andrew Flintoff has ruled out making a Test return, despite his decision to play four-day cricket for his county in 2010. "My focus now is getting back on a cricket field for Lancashire," the all-rounder said.
Lancashire have extended their ticket offer, for the second npower Test match against Bangladesh at Old Trafford in June, until near the end of January.
ICC president David Morgan expects day/night Test matches to be introduced within two years. "There is no reason why it wouldn't be attractive in England," said the former ECB chairman.
Sky Sports will show more live county cricket next summer than ever before, with at least 69 live matches shown between April and September.
The ECB has welcomed the decision by Ben Bradshaw, the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, to begin a consultation into broadcasting sports on free-to-air television.
Tickets are now on sale for every England match next summer - and anyone who buys before Christmas Day will be entered into a draw to play alongside Darren Gough and Nasser Hussain.
ECB chief executive David Collier insists the growth of cricket in England and Wales will be lost if the recommendation that home Ashes Tests be reserved for free-to-air television is approved.
Tickets go on sale next week for England’s two international fixtures at Old Trafford in 2010. England play Bangladesh in the second npower Test, before Australia visit in the NatWest Series.
