Tickets will go on sale next week for England’s clashes with New Zealand at Old Trafford next summer.

Lancashire host the second npower Test on 23-27 May and the Twenty20 international on June 13.

Adult ticket prices range from £33-£45 for the Test, with under-16s paying just £8. Tickets for the Twenty20 encounter cost £35-£48 for adults and £9 for juniors.

Lancashire chief executive Jim Cumbes said: “New Zealand are now one of the best sides in the world and will pose tough opposition for England next year.

“As well as an attractive Test match in May, the Twenty20 international is bound to be an early sell-out, in view of the increased popularity of Twenty20 throughout the world.”

Lancashire and England pace bowler James Anderson added: “For a player, it’s always special to play international cricket at your home ground.

“Old Trafford is renowned for producing top-class cricket, as it’s a testing wicket which offers something for both batsman and bowler.

“Although next summer seems an eternity away in this cold weather, I’m looking forward to playing a very strong New Zealand side in front of a sell-out crowds at Old Trafford.”

Lancashire have increased the number of alcohol free seats available in a bid to encourage more families to attend the matches, and a new code of conduct for spectators will be enforced.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday November 15. They can be bought via www.lccc.co.uk or by phoning the Lancashire ticket office on 0161 282 4040.
