Rashid keen to kick on

Adil Rashid is determined to take his career to the next level after sampling life with the England senior side
Adil Rashid is glad to be back playing again and is targeting an international debut this summer after a winter on the sidelines with England.
Yorkshire all-rounder Rashid spent 11 weeks in the Caribbean but did not feature in either the Test or one-day series against West Indies.
The 21-year-old returned to competitive action for his county with a cameo 17 with the bat and 1-28 with the ball as the visitors cruised to an 80-run victory over Durham in a Friends Provident Trophy contest at the Riverside.
"It's been really nice to be part of the England squad and hopefully I can play some part against West Indies," Rashid said.
"It was a great experience to be with England this winter; I learned about myself, about my batting and about my bowling in different situations, which is helpful."
He added: "This has been a great start for us today and we feel confident that we can compete in all competitions."
Will Smith suffered a first defeat since taking over the Durham captaincy from Dale Benkenstein at the end of the 2008 County Championship-winning season.
Yorkshire posted 268 for seven after being asked to bat first but, despite a valiant 68 from Benkenstein, Durham slumped to defeat with nine overs unused.
"It was a pretty convincing defeat in the end but we needed 80 off the last 10 overs," said Smith. "If we had had wickets in hand, with the powerplay in consideration, that might have been pretty plain sailing.
"It was just losing those wickets at common intervals throughout the chase which was always going to dent our chances.
"They scored 20-30 above what we thought was a par score but, having said that, I still thought we could chase it down."
