Sri Lanka tour itinerary

England's one-day side will arrive in Sri Lanka on September 25, playing a warm-up match and five ODIs before October 15.

The Test side heads out to replace them a month later, and has two scheduled three-day warm-up matches before the first of three Tests starts in Kandy on December 1.

The venues for the 1st and 3rd Tests had to be switched to provide more time for the major redevelopment of the Test ground in Galle. The 1st Test will now be played in Kandy and the 3rd Test in Galle. The side returns to England two days before Christmas.

On being informed of Sri Lanka Cricket's need to switch venues, ECB approached the Sri Lanka Tourist Board with a view to securing an undertaking that England supporters and tour operators would not incur cancellation charges as a result of this change to the itinerary. The Board is most grateful to the Sri Lanka Tourist Board for providing this undertaking.
