Griffiths and Duncan gain MCC roles

Vicky Griffiths and Isabelle Duncan are to join MCC’s main committee after receiving sufficient votes in the club's annual election.

Griffiths and Duncan will each take up their three-year positions on October 1, with Peter Leaver and Nick Pocock also elected for the third and fourth time respectively.

MCC president Mike Griffith said: “The membership has voted for an excellent blend of youth and experience. Nick, Peter, Vicky and Isabelle have diverse professional backgrounds but are united by their love of the game, and will be great assets to the committee.”

Former England captain Mike Gatting, Simon Dyson, David Faber and Tim O'Gorman will retire as elected members on September 30 2013.
