Hundreds of cricket fans will travel to the Yorkshire Bank 40 final free of charge tomorrow thanks to an initiative by sponsors Yorkshire Bank and the England and Wales Cricket Board.

The Yorkshire Bank 40 competition reaches its climax this Saturday (September 21st) with both finalists, Glamorgan and Nottinghamshire, making their first appearance in a Lord's one-day final for more than a decade.

The pitch used for last week's Yorkshire Bank 40 match between Derbyshire Falcons and Durham Dynamos has been rated "poor" by an ECB Pitch Panel. Accordingly, Derbyshire will start next year's equivalent competition with a two-point deduction.
